Let your documents follow you around
Have you ever had employees print to a particular printer only to get there and see that there is a problem with the device or somebody else is printing a huge job ahead?
With our PrintAnywhereTM technology you won't have to worry about these scenarios. Instead, users can choose to print documents securely, which means they will stay on the print server until the user logs in at the device and chooses to release them. This also means that the user can walk up to any compatible device to release the document. This way if a printer is down or busy, the user can just walk to the nearest printer and retrieve the document there instead. Furthermore, if you don't want to rely on individual users deciding which documents are confidential and which ones aren't, you can create comprehensive rules that force documents fulfilling certain criteria to be printed securely.
Print jobs can be released at the device in one of two ways. If the device model supports our embedded clients (currently available for certain Ricoh, Sharp, and Xerox multi-function devices), users can log in directly on the device, using either PINs, network logins, or proximity/magnetic cards. If we do not yet have embedded clients available for your printers, or you do not use multi-function devices, then you can use our web interface on a kiosk-style PC next to the printer.
